Marilyn Tyner is the author of seven romance novels
which have been praised for their realistic characters and
plots. Her first novel,
Step By Step, pioneered a trend of
full-figured heroines.
All of these novels have been reprinted by iUniverse and
are available online from iUniverse at backinprint.com,
Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com. I am also planning  to
make them available directly from this website.  The new
covers as well as excerpts can be viewed on this website by
clicking the appropriate link to the left.
Marilyn is a widow with two adult children and three
grandchildren. She is a retired social worker who began
writing late in life  She credits her job with the fact that her
novels deal with realistic situations and coping with
relationships of all types..
In addition to writing, she enjoys interacting with other
authors and readers by conducting workshops, public
speaking and participating in panel discussions.  She is a
member of two fraternal orders, The Order Of the Eastern
Star and The Order of Cyrene. She also serves on the
Board of the Philadelphia Writers Conference.

Marilyn loves hearing from readers and you may contact me

Sample Reviews

"Ms. Tyner gifts readers with a writing style that combines passion and
intrigue.  In
One Heartbeat At A Time she also updates readers on the
progress of characters from previous books."
Romantic Times Magazine

"Everything To Gain has an old-fashioned down-to- earth feel, but don't be
fooled.  Ms. Tyner also writes in some seriously steamy love scenes. This
book is a rare gem that one doesn't expect by its seemingly tame storyline
and makes for a great reading experience."
Romance In Color

"
In False Impressions Ms. Tyner has written a classic romance with all the
best elements of a keeper; an exciting plot, genuine characters, suspense
and, of course, romance."
Romantic Times

"The skill and mastery of the romance genre comes when someone like Ms.
Tyner brings a fresh perspective and new treatment to an old favorite.
